Some forms require you to hold a current RICS license specific
to that form. These are currently required for the RICS
HomeBuyer Report and the RICS Condition
Report. For more information on licensing see RICS Books.
To add a license to your account:
- Click Options then
Licenses.
- Click Add license.
- Enter the license number.
- Choose the type of license you want to add to your account. If
you have a combined license, you will need to register the
individual license numbers for each type of report.
- Click Add license.
Only one user needs to add a license, and it will be shared
accross all users on your account.
Most reports require credits to produce. You can experiment in
creating draft forms as much as you want, but publishing a form
will require credits. When you go to publish a form, you will be
shown the cost of that form (in credits), how many credits you
currently have, and how many you will have after publishing the
form.
There is currently only one type of credit, the RICS
Home Surveys credit, and the RICS HomeBuyer
Report and RICS Condition Report both
require one credit for each form published.
Buying credits
- Click Credits and purchases.
- Click Add credit.
- Add the number of credits you want to your basket, larger
bundles offer greater discounts.
- Click Checkout.
- Click Buy now.
- You will be redirected to WorldPay, where you follow the
instrutions on screen.
- When your purchase is completed you will be notified. Click
OK to return to the Credits and
purchases screen.
Instead of buying large numbers of credits, it may be possible
to acquire a subscription for a one off fee. For further
